Terms of service

Operator and agreement
Eggtimer.app is provided by Gotoh Industries LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Contact support@eggtimer.app. These terms cover the website, installed web app, APIs, MCP tools and Eggtimer integration software. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
What the service provides
The browser timer provides countdowns, a stopwatch and recipe displays. Server automation is a free, limited beta with published quotas and retention. API and MCP operations can create real server jobs; public link generation only returns a URL. Features, limits and availability may change. We do not promise indefinite free automation capacity, uninterrupted service or exact delivery times.
Your workspace and content
You retain ownership of your labels, recipes and other submitted content. You authorize us and our hosting providers to process it as required to provide and protect the service. Keep API and recovery keys secure. Anyone with an API key can act within its workspace. We cannot recover access if both keys are lost. Do not submit content you lack permission to use or private information that is unnecessary for timing.
Automation and third parties
Supplying a webhook or connecting a client authorizes the selected operations and documented delivery attempts. Webhooks may be delayed, duplicated, reordered or fail. HTTP acceptance does not establish success of later actions. You are responsible for downstream authorization, safe limits and deduplication. Cancellation cannot recall sent or in-flight requests. Zapier, AI clients, donation services and other third parties have their own terms, plans and privacy policies.
Acceptable use
Do not use Eggtimer for unlawful activity, spam, unauthorized access, harmful automation, interference with other users or evasion of published quotas. Do not send secrets in public URLs or recipes. We may limit or suspend abusive activity and pause new enrollment to protect existing users and service capacity.
Timing and fitness limits
Browser audio depends on interaction, device settings and keeping the page active. PWA installation does not create a native alarm. Server deadlines and webhook delivery are best effort. Do not rely on Eggtimer for emergency, safety-critical, medical or other uses where a missed or incorrect alarm could cause harm. Beep Test is practice pacing, not official assessment audio or medical/fitness advice.
Privacy and retention
Our privacy policy explains local storage, aggregate counts, operational records and third-party processing. Published retention limits apply. Save required recipes and credentials yourself. We may remove expired data; a link does not guarantee permanent availability.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose or webhook delivery. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on missed or duplicated timers or third-party actions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights, liability for fraud or other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We will date material changes on this page. If a change materially affects existing use, we will provide a notice on the site before it takes effect where practical or required by law. You can stop using the service and close a workspace using its recovery key. Questions or complaints: support@eggtimer.app.
