Timer link API

Read capabilities, presets and integrations. Post a duration to /api/timer-link or a recipe to /api/recipe-link. The response includes a ready-to-use URL and tells you what happens on opening.

OpenAPI contract ↗

MCP connection

Our stateless MCP endpoint returns validated links:

https://eggtimer.app/api/mcp

Use Streamable HTTP. No account or API key is required. Tools discover capabilities and presets, create timer or recipe links, and explain integrations. They do not control live timers or schedule background alarms. Client compatibility is still being tested. Setup and protocol details ↗

Server timers

The authenticated server automation schedules a real countdown with status, cancellation and optional Zapier completion delivery. Its stored deadline continues after every tab closes. Create a free private workspace to get a scoped API key. No email or payment is required; published usage limits apply.

Server routines and events

Run Pomodoro cycles or custom stages on our servers. Each step has a stored deadline and stable event link. Inspect transitions, select which events call your hook, and cancel the entire run.

Zapier connections

Native Zapier beta: installation, actions and step-event triggers ↗

Connect a Zapier Catch Hook privately in the timer and explicitly arm its next completion. Your Zap can log a session or notify the next person. The browser must remain open; no workflow runs just because an assistant creates a link.

Zapier setup and delivery limits ↗

No account required. Browser starts add anonymous hourly totals. Link generation stores no recipe or label. Privacy ↗
