Eggtimer.app and everyday browser timers

The best everyday timer is easy to start,
easy to read and easy to leave.

Reviewed October 18, 2026. Written by Gotoh Industries LLC, the operator of Eggtimer.app. Competitor entries describe their official documentation; we have not independently benchmarked their infrastructure or purchased their paid plans. “Not established” means the reviewed sources do not establish a capability, not that it is absent.

What we have kept small

The main screen has one time input, quick starts and three modes. API, MCP, server controls and longer documentation live on separate pages. There is no account requirement for browser timing and no third-party advertising or analytics script in the timer shell. Optional support is a plain donation link.

Start five minutes · Try 25/5 · Open the stopwatch · Read the shortcuts.

What sharing means here

A setup link describes a timer. An individual resource link identifies a particular saved run. Browser records stay local and can be removed by clearing site data; they do not synchronize devices. Server run links require a workspace key and expire with their retained record. These limits are part of the linking contract.
